The Dean of Students

At St Joseph’s Technical Institute for the Deaf, Nyangoma, student life goes beyond classrooms and workshops — it is about building friendships, discovering strengths, and feeling truly at home. As Dean of Students, my role is to ensure that each learner’s journey here is supported, enriching, and memorable.
We understand that every student is unique, with individual needs, talents, and aspirations. That is why we work closely with our dedicated welfare team, counsellors, and activity coordinators to provide guidance, personal support, and opportunities for growth both inside and outside the classroom. Whether it’s through clubs, sports, cultural activities, or leadership programs, our goal is to nurture not only skilled graduates but also confident, socially responsible young people ready to face the world.
At the heart of our work is a commitment to inclusivity, respect, and community. We strive to create an environment where every student feels heard, valued, and empowered to overcome challenges and achieve their dreams. Together, we celebrate diversity and stand united in our belief that everyone deserves the chance to succeed.
