St. Joseph’s Technical Institute for the Deaf Nyang’oma is an integrated Public TVET accredited institution in Bondo Sub-County along Bondo–Kopolo–Wagusu Road, approximately 12 kilometers from Bondo Town. The college seeks to recruit competent and qualified persons to fill the following positions:
1. ENTREPRENEURSHIP TRAINER (1 POST)

Duties and Responsibilities
- Undertake training in areas of specialization
- Prepare professional training documents
- Set, moderate, administer, and mark examinations
- Conduct research under supervision
- Supervise trainees’ projects and practical work
- Provide guidance and counseling
- Maintain discipline among trainees
- Participate in curriculum development and review
- Develop training manuals
- Participate in performance appraisals
- Perform any other assigned duties
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree/Higher National Diploma in Entrepreneurship or equivalent
- Licensed by TVETA or meet licensing requirements
- At least 2 years teaching experience
- Knowledge of CBET
- Computer literate
- Valid Certificate of Good Conduct
2. ICT SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR (1 POST)

Duties and Responsibilities
- System administration
- ERP (Optimum Systems) administration
- Online school portal management
- ICT support and maintenance
- Data protection and security
- Innovation and system improvement
- Conduct ICT training and promote digital literacy
- Support ICT-related activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- At least 2 years experience (preferably in a learning institution)
- ERP knowledge is an added advantage
- Valid Certificate of Good Conduct
3. ICT WEBMASTER & DIGITAL SPECIALIST (1 POST)

Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and maintain website
- Manage and update website content
- Monitor website performance and security
- Develop digital solutions
- Manage social media platforms
- Create digital content and graphics
- Analyze digital performance
- Maintain branding consistency
- Provide technical support
- Implement digital tools and technologies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- At least 2 years experience
- Knowledge of CBET
- Photography/videography skills are an added advantage
- Valid Certificate of Good Conduct
4. HAIRDRESSING & BEAUTY THERAPY TRAINER (1 POST)

Duties and Responsibilities
(Similar to trainer roles above: training, assessment, supervision, curriculum development, etc.)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree/HND in Hairdressing & Beauty Therapy or Cosmetology
- Diploma/Craft certificate is an added advantage
- TVETA licensing required
- At least 2 years experience
- Computer literate
- Valid Certificate of Good Conduct
5. KENYAN SIGN LANGUAGE INTERPRETER (1 POST)

Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide sign-to-voice and voice-to-sign interpretation
- Participate in meetings and activities
- Support students and trainers
- Monitor assistive devices
- Conduct research on interpretation trends
Requirements
- Certificate in Kenyan Sign Language
- Certificate in Computer Applications
- At least 2 years experience (added advantage)
6. CATERESS (1 POST)

Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare meals
- Maintain hygiene in kitchen and dining areas
- Supervise kitchen staff
- Manage food inventory
- Ensure compliance with health standards
Requirements
- Diploma in Food Production/Service/Management
- At least 2 years experience
- Knowledge of food safety
- Food handling certificate
- Computer literate
- Valid Certificate of Good Conduct
7. GROUNDSMAN (1 POST)

Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain lawns and compound cleanliness
- Dispose of waste properly
- Maintain drainage systems
- Assist in manual tasks
Requirements
- KCPE certificate
- Experience in gardening/maintenance
- Experience in a learning institution
- Certificate of Good Conduct
- Recommendation letter from area chief
