Overview of the Department

The Industrial attachment department is to carryout placement for students on industrial attachment in industries and factories to gain further knowledge and practical skills in their area of specialization.
The purpose of attachment is to prepare them for job opportunities through hands on skill development.
The department also offers attachment and internships from students from other institutions in its varied departments.

Objectives

1. Equipping our students with relevant skills in their areas of study to meet the industrial attachment requirements
2. Ensure Placement of students for attachment is achieved 100%
3. Ensure that students are assessed during attachment
4. Ensure that all records are well kept
5. Prepare an industrial and factory data bank for placement of students
6. Collaborate with industries for placement of the institute’s staff in industries for in-service practical skills acquisition so as to enhance their competence
7. To produce well rounded trainees that are able to adapt to the job makers.
8. Offer services that are professional and worthy of our training.
