Overview of the Department
The department endeavour to train candidates and equip them with skills that can make them fit well in the job market and become self-reliant with confidence to become job creators
The trainers are trained and tested both on practical and theoretical requirements of the coursework. The main exams bodies are NITA, KNEC and CDACC
Objectives
- To train candidates that are well skilled and able to meet the demand of the market.
- To produce professionals that can create jobs in their respective field of training.
- To produce confident candidates that are equipped to address challenges in the job market and country as well

Our department strives to give the best training to all our trainees to help them have skills and confidence to face challenges in the market.
The team of trainers available in the department are well qualified and experienced to give the best service to the candidates.
Courses and Requirements
Diploma in food and beverage (Level 6) – C (plain) and above or certificate in Craft in food and beverage
Craft in food and beverage (Level 5) – D(plain) and above in KCSE or certificate in Artisan in food and beverage
Artisan in food and beverage (Level 4) – D- in KCSE or 240 marks out of 500 in KCPE
