Librarian’s Welcome Message

The library seeks to promote the vision and mission of the College by providing timely access to quality Library services and wide array of relevant information resources in a variety of media to meet the learning, training and research needs of ST. JOSEPH’S TTTID community.

ST. JOSEPH’S TTTID Library as the hub of knowledge is a place where you can expect smart and clear answers to even the most difficult questions. Neil Gaiman perfectly describes what is happening in digital times: “Google can bring you back 100,000 answers, but a Librarian can bring you back the right one.” The Library is well managed and systematically organised by competent staff.

Library members are offered an opportunity to enjoy and discover a rich hybrid system which embraces both print and electronic resources tandem with contemporary and emerging global trends. The Library is automated and networked to ease access to available information resources and services. It is structured into four major customer-focused sections namely: Circulation &Readers’ Information Services, Serials & Reference Services, ICT Section, and Technical Processing. Library structure and service points are deliberately positioned in a convenient, learner-friendly environment.

The eye-catching building housing ST. JOSEPH’S TTTID Library is aesthetically appealing which was built around the characteristics of the intended users clearly rekindling the passions of the technical trainers and trainees. It was designed with a unique ambience to enhance concentration while studying by avoiding distraction. Users are able to experience the Library in its splendour as a resourceful learning space offering them the atmosphere or environment for advancement in their own special disciplines.

JOSEPH’S TTTID Library is committed to maintaining high quality standards by embracing and integrating modern technologies and strategies in information management in line with the global community agenda to ensure enhanced access to information resources for development and lifelong learning.
